Poignantly summarized by a well versed activist, Dustin Renaud:

I’ll say what this guy wants to say, but can’t with eloquence. We, as a human race, need to get our proverbial “shit” together and start working together to solve real problems rather than being divisive twits shouting at each other. We’re reaching a tipping point in our society. Education is dismal (not to mention expensive). Infrastructure is literally crumbling. Yet we’re arguing over whether or not to eat at Chick-fil-a (our debilitating obesity rate would shout “NO, no it’s not okay”). Climate change is happening. It’s real folks. We can debate all day as to whether or not it is human caused (or confounded), but IT IS REAL. Either we learn to smartly live in an ever-changing climate or we will continue to see climate-induced death and destruction on the 10 o’clock news. The anti-intellectualism that has overcome our society is shameful. We need real thinkers; we need real doers; but, most of all, we need real collaborators to bring these thinkers and doers together to get big things done. I can see the shift coming. I know we have it in us as a human race to make big, consciousness-shifting changes. I only have one favor to ask: If you’re an obstructionist, get the hell out of the way!

Project 7 was started by a wealthy teenager when he took over his father’s gourmet dog food company and flipped it into one that sells everyday products. The company is backed by Christian beliefs; and donates 50% of the profits to causes in seven different parts of the world. Projects like providing wells to people without water, feeding the hungry, and planting trees to restore society and the earth.
Additionally, this water battle is made by Enso Bottles, which makes biodegradable bottles that are PET Recyclable and break down fully in 1-5 years in a landfill. Project 7 is based around Christian beliefs, but it seems this company ACTUALLY follows the teachings of the bible, a philosophy that gets thrown around quite a bit these days.

This is Our Planet

Do yourself a favor and watch this. This is just another reminder of why we’re so lucky; we’re alive in an era where we have the technology to fly our beautiful earth and watch it in HD. :)

The Bronx could become home to the largest rooftop farm in the world, thanks to a new scheme by the Bloomberg administration that dwarfs a Brooklyn project unveiled this spring.

Lots of rooftop space in NYC, need more of this!

Solar Floating Resort by Michele Puzzolante

The Solar Floating Resort (SFR) is a unique hospitality concept, part habitation, part yacht and part submarine, totally self-sufficient energy generator, non-polluting and in unison with its natural surroundings.

SFR has been designed like a luxury yacht and a luxury hotel suite, with a fully submerged observation bulb. SFR reaches twenty meters in length, is designed for six people at sea and is ideal for living in marinas connected to front beach hotels.

The bright light is the over-exposed Moon. This is a photo taken at the middle of August. Orion is a winter constellation. You can actually see on the stars the change of the seasons if you stay up until

Mix faces up to 20 years in prison on the felony obstruction of justice charges and up to $500,000 in fines, according to the Justice Department.

"Too much flowrate — over 15,000 and too large an orifice," Mix wrote at 10:25 p.m. on May 26, the first day of the Top Kill operation. "Tired. Going home and getting ready for round three tomorrow."

While criminal charges are definitely a victory, hopefully this will spur more charges and more arrests, because there are dozens, if not hundreds of other people who should be held responsible for the worst environmental disaster in U.S. History…

Without further comment, here’s human roid and noted thinker Jose Canseco giving us his thoughts on how global warming could’ve saved us from “My Heart Will Go On.

This is priceless!
